Default Playoff Team

Which team will you guys be cheering for in the playoffs? I think it will be portland and the magic for me, both are exciting and talented teams. Actually i think i will cheer for anything but the cavs or lakers.

I acutally want the Cavs and Lakers in the finals. Having LBJ on one side and Kobe on the other is due for a brilliant finals even better than the Lakers and Celtics last year. As for Portland and Magic i can't see both teams making it further than the second round.

As much as I like to see LBJ, Big Z is decaying and mo wil is a half season wonder, Gibbson got figured out after 1 playoff, no big ben, wally is inconsistant. Don't surprise me to see Magic VS Lakers.

Only way we can see Celtics VS Lakers is garrnet comes back 100% which is unlikely not to mention they dont have posey to stop Kobe.

I can see spurs and lakers in the west but Lakers right now seems too strong.

Don't see how Williams' production is a surprise. Quite similar numbers to the last couple of years. There was never anything to figure out about Gibson, spot up shooter and that's it. Only thing they lack really is a real interior post scorer (agree about Z) which is compensated with LeBron's usual style of play.

I was hoping for the Spurs to come out of the West but Duncan is an uncertainty and although he almost always proves doubters wrong, the doubts still crop up about his knees. Also the loss of Ginobili is obviously significant.

Orlando is surprisingly good defensively and has taken care of the top East teams a couple of times. Still not impressed by their 4th quarter options, Nelson was a great efficient player to use and Hedo's shooting has fallen off. In addition to Dwight's free throw difficulties, I can see them taking out Boston with a hobbled Garnett but not Cleveland.

Celtics! In the west, I'd like to see Portland do well, same with Hornets and Jazz.

If I was to predict the finals though I'd have to go with Lakers Celtics rematch.

I want it to be the Jazz and Magic in the finals.. but I'm pretty sure it will end up Cavs and Lakers.

I'll probably cheer for the Hawks or something cause I'm over life at the moment..

Spurs are gonna have a tough time without Ginoboli. Mason's gonna have to step up big time, but he's been doing that all year it seems.

West: Houston....I really want Yao to make it out of the 1st round

East: Detriot, they suck this year but they've always been my 2nd favorite team in the east.

**** every other team...especially the Celtics, Cavs and Lakers.

Dude u serious

I thought age only mattered at the beginning of the year with all the fantasy stuff.

Mo- half season wonder??? Hes an allstar and continues to play his excellent game

Big Ben is back

Gibbson and Wally don't play much anyways

You forgot about West and Varejao

and who the h*** is gonna guard Lebron

I'd love to see the Cavs and the Lakers though in the finals. Kobe and Lebron in a 7 game series.

Well, the #1 team i'll be cheering for is the Heat (although I don't expect them to make it past the 2nd round.

After the Heat it's the:
Blazers
Hornets

I'm excited for most of the playoff matchups but those are the main teams i'll be cheering for.

I just have to throw in that the matchups are absolutely sick in the Western conference, and in the second round for the east there is potential to be Cavs vs Heat/Hawks and Magic vs Celtics.

I'm more excited for these playoffs than I have been in awhile, even though the Raptors aren't involved.
