Second-round draft pick Tyrone Wallace is not on the training camp roster, but will likely begin his professional career in the Jazz system with the Salt Lake City Stars.
hasn't signed elsewhere so that's what I've figured.

Fellow second-round pick Marcus Paige, along with Eric Dawson will probably end up there as well. From where I sit, they are the most unlikely players to make the cut.
I could see Dawson. They don't like Withey and he should have trade value. I thought they might move Alec too but now that he's not playing in the pre-season that may be put on hold. Could still see Hood going.

"I've hit the weights really hard; I've gained a couple pounds, worked on my athleticism, to be honest. My vertical (leap) has increased just a little bit, my body, my balance, my jump shot, my footwork, my touch -- I've worked on just about anything you can think of.
needs to get stronger for sure

This year, though, Snyder says the team has players who are much more comfortable with attacking, especially at the point guard position. That should make the Jazz's offense faster in the half court.
hope he's including Mack in that.

But the highlight was definitely at the end, when Favors hit two consecutive threes. The first, from the top of the arc, was a scramble situation after an out-of-bounds play with a quickly shrinking shot clock. The second, though, was a set play for Favors to take the outside look from the elbow, and he swished that one too. If that's a weapon for Favors, it gives the Jazz some really interesting spacing possibilities.
love to see him hit a perimeter shot period after last year's horrendous shooting display

Exum played his first game outside of the friendly confines of Zions Bank Basketball Center for the first time in 14 months, and looked okay. He too easily was steered baseline and towards the corners of the court, which often resulted in turnovers. He missed two jumpers from the elbow, as well as a corner shot. He did seem more aggressive in the open court, but the offense didn't flow very well out there when he ran it. He did try to deliver an alley-oop pass to Hayward, which was intercepted by Joe Johnson.
Doesn't sound like he's one of their top 10 guys to me. If he's not and he plays it's a joke.

Exum's first public action since his ACL injury, the 20-year-old Aussie saw his first two shots clang off the iron and a third, a 3-pointer from the corner, miss the rim entirely.
    better than Neto and Mack?

Hill is arguably the Jazz's best point guard threat since Deron Williams
Still don't see him as a better playmaker than Mack or Neto.

Hill and Shelvin Mack both stood out with their guard play.
First we've heard of Mack. Hard to imagine he isn't one of their top players still though.

[QUOTE]The Hawks waived forward Richard Solomon on Saturday. The move trims the training camp roster to 19 players. However, the Hawks are likely to add a guard to the roster soon. They are thin at the guard position with Dennis Schroder nursing an ankle injury and Jarrett Jack being brought along slowly from a torn ACL. The Hawks had an excess of big men in camp knowing that Tiago Splitter was returning from hip surgery.

Jeff Withey, who will probably be either the 14th or 15h man on the roster, saw a lot of playing time last year.
    no he didn't

"To some degree, there's been too much of a fixation on minutes," Snyder said. "It's relevant, but developing the roster is going to take time. I don't think we're going to have a goal of going into Christmas knowing who our starting quarterback is going to be, if you know what I mean. There will be adjustments over the course of the season, there will be different matchups."
the big question is if the best guys actually play for a change. They have indicated that is the case but I keep hearing Exum's name though his game sounds like it has a long way to go
