Default 2014 NFL Draft: looking back at the QB's.

If you could draft the QB's over again, how would you draft em? BE Honest.

BEFORE Draft

I had

Bortles (had him as my #1 QB MONTHS before draft) AKA Big Ben/Flacco
Carr AKA Aaron Rodgers
---
Bridgewater - thought he was going to be a bust. Geno Smith type talent Besr case.
Manziel - hated em coming out. Thought he was going to bust so bad. I'm talking i said he was overrated because he was coming from TA&M. Had Mathews blocking and was throwing to Evans. C'mon now.

Now, I go

Bortles Big Ben/Flacco
Carr - Aaron Rodgers jr (remember he's on raiders. No running game, no receivers, no NFL level coaches. Guy is on his 2nd HC. Horrible situation for a rookie QB. Oakland needs to get it together.

Bridgewater - give him more credit, he'll be good.
Manziel (funny, during preseason i became a Johnny fan. Started feeling like he was the truth. Now? I unno. He needs to get it together )

How is Carr in any way like Aaron Rodgers?

lol. idk, i guess incidents like when he had issues throwing without a glove???

OR, like sunday, where he threw fro 160 yds, had 3 pics, 1 fumble, 8 sacks?

maybe something like that? It's an opinion man. I just had a weird gut feeling. I never really saw "it" when people were saying he was going first QB. ppl were even saying he was going #1 (waaaay before the draft).

Games like sunday, This kid is a stud. Has a great arm, strength, accuracy, etc. Has good court vision.

This kid has the total package. He throws for 4 TD's, and 1 pic (WHICH WAS A HOLD FROM THE CB ON THE WR IF you watch the replay) against a top 3 team in the NFL with a wack ass supporting cast.

I'd go

1. Manziel
2. Carr

Crazy how Manziel has vanished from the media. I bet it is serving him well to sit his rookie year and just soak in the NFL atmosphere a bit first.

Not sure he can do it next year though, so if Browns want to stick with Hoyer you can probably expect some drama from Johnny requesting a trade.

I'm sorry, but it was Meant for Manziel to play for the Cowboys.
Only way I can see him being a star in this league.

I went through a phase Prior to draft where I thought Johnny would bust bad.

Then I felt, he's either going to transition to the NFL in a great fashion or poor one.

Then I fell for the hype in preseason and wanted to see the SOB play. Lol

Then, I'm back to reality. Somewhere in the middle. Lol need to see him play.

No, Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the league, he could do all those things you mentioned plus more, I still don't see it

duh. But here's the thing, He wasn't always the best QB in the league. Remember his first few years ? Behind Favre? and then years he was starting, it took him around 3 years of starting to become elite. He wasn't always.

I'm not saying Carr is as good as Rodgers, I'm just saying when I see him play, he plays with the same demeanor that Rodgers had, when Rodgers was in his first year of starting, that's all.

It's fine if you don't see it man, it's an opinion. It's not fact. lol let it go bro. Not everyone will have the same opinion as you.

Bump.

IF this kid Derek Carr has a SOMEWHAT decent running game, just to keep defense's honest, and an offensive line that can somewhat protect him, and wide receivers that can run a decent route, this kid is a stud. I"m really liking what I see from this young Buck. Raiders FOR SURE have their future in Carr.

Also, as soon as you get another pass rusher next to Khalil his sacks will start to jump. The guy is a monster in the run game.

Raiders have a lot of great young talent. They do a heck of a job drafting as of late. (now that Al, RIP, is not drafting)

I really like Sio Moore. Guy is just a great LB. Also, DJ Hayden will be a great CB in this league.

But, BACK to the OP.

Lets redraft these QB's. Who ya'll got?
