Default Trade for Eddy Curry

Why don't the Heat try and make a trade for Eddy Curry or some type of post scorer?

I'd like to see Blount plus a first rounder for Curry. Anyone else agree?

well, why not ?

swapping blount for curry would make sense for the heat
( another firstrounder might be problematic though, since we still owe one to minnesota )

but why would the knicks take on blount?????

~$1.5M salary relief + a draft pick to help rebuild?

yeah, but blount ?

i don't see it, allthough i'd love it ;)

just read a rumor about marion for curry...

would be a taker for NY, but i'm not sure miami would be getting back good enough value....

as for the pick, again what pick ?
2010 first-rounder ? or 2009 seconf rounders ?
nor sure why th eknicks would take that...they'd probably get better value than blount somewhere else....

If they traded Marion for Curry, I'd be pretty annoyed.

They'd have to even out the salary with someone else, and sweeten the deal before Riley considers it.

Give us Jamaal Crawford + Eddy Curry for Marion, and I'd be ridiculously happy.

Curry had heart problems. And he can get some points but he can't rebound.

Just say NO to Curry. We do not want his 10+ mill in 2010. Not even for Blount, NO. At least Blount expiers in 2010. What we need to do is get rid of Banks some how.

One reason is that Eddy Curry is just bad if anyone id try to get someone like Brook Lopez who is playing well right now and is maintaining a consistent post presence a player like Eddy Curry would just slow down Miami's style of offense.

I later realized Curry had 3yrs left and not two... so no... I don't want him either anymore.

If he opts out, I'd welcome signing him for a 1-2 yr low level contract. Until then, I dont want him screwing up Miami's cap chances at bringing in a better C.

Exactly, Let NY cut him, then we'll sign him for the vet MIN. That's the only way.
