dirks been a better rebounder than anyone currently on the pistons since his 3rd year. Dirk IS a great rebounder. The thing is thats not what dallas wants him to do in the regular season. When they want him to rebound he does as evidenced by his 11.1 rpg career playoff average.

His style of game at this point is outside the paint, so you could be 8 feet tall, it wouldn't matter. He's not put in a position to get rebounds.

That could change as his post game develops.

I think this kid is amazing though, he will be an All-Star in two seasons or maybe even less IMO. Great attitude, improves all the time, going to be a great scorer, pretty good shot blocking instincts also.

The Raptors present so many match up nightmares for other teams.

he might be an all star in two seasons. i guess thats possible but for him to be an all star in less it would mean hes got to be an all star next year... not happening.

Wow GOOB, pull the thong out from your a$$. The post is about Bargnani and nothing else. It's par for the course to have Raps supporters weigh in. The watch him the most. Relax man, life is to short to not learn to ware diferent undergarments sometimes.

yeah. Lets examine? Who on the pistons would you even remotely say is a better rebounder than dirk? Sheed? HELL NO. His career high in boards is 8.1 Webber in his prime was but not now. As for dirk being a great rebounder yes im serious. Check his playoff rebounding numbers.

Sheed is a 7 footer and only averages 8 rebounds per game?

Pathetic.

Bargnani is being heavily coached on his rebounding and post game this year. As he develops his inside game, and builds strength, his rebound numbers should go up. The fact that they consistanly getting higher as the season progress's suggest he will be decent in the long run.

"But enough of what this guy can become. Getting redundant."

He's a rookie. Are you saying it unreasonable to speculate in regards to his potential. At this stage in any players career any discussion about them will be as much about potential as it is current production.

that's true if you take webber at his current level (which i assume you do). cwebb at his peak was a great rebounder and certainly better than a third year dirk.
