haha, yup. . Mercedes looked good in that pic. . Yea they had so many artists at one point it was crazy. they would literally come out with a cd like every other week, thats prob what eventually put the outta business. . Fiend was pretty tight too and magic wasnt bad. . and that dude Krazy they got who was like a 2pac immitator was ok too but he came later after they were basically done already.

I honestly didn't know there was a real rapper named Silk the Shocker, I thought you guys were talking about that obnoxious Bran Stan who always predicted LBJ would win a title only to disappear for months when James would lose in the Finals.

Almost none of the No Limit or Cash Money rosters had any actual talent.
    Especially Silkk the Shocker.
    Nursery Rhyme slowpoke niccas.

No Limit (other than Snoop’s brief time with them) never had ANY successful international tours, unlike many other talented rap acts, like Cyress Hill, Wu-Tang, Nas, Jay-Z, etc.... No Linitnever having any successful international tours really tells you something about No Limit’s total lack of respectable lasting quality. Silkk the Shocker had zero respect outside of people who had IQ’s below 85.

Their entire appeal was empty hype, catering to the lowest common denominator in American society, with a small percentage of normal intelligent people only kinda going along with the wave, while looking around like “does everyone really like this garbage ?”

i never really liked any of the southern rappers, always felt like they were an IQ bracket below the north east, but lil wayne was a clever mfer.

Agreed. Kilo G, a relatively unheard of rapper, had their best release in 1995. Early Mannie fresh made great beats.
