Good deal or bad deal?

I just bought:

Madden 2007
Project Gotham Racing 3
Tony Hawks Project
Gears of War

I got all 4 for 37 bucks off ebay.

Good or bad?

If you like those games, then it's a good deal. I personally would only play Gears of War out of those 4 titles.

What's bad about the other three? My friend says Gears of War is worth the money alone, but I don't know since I haven't played it.

I hope the 2007 Madden is better than the 2006 Madden. I put that game in and instantly started blowing the other team out.

Oh nothing at all man, I'm not a big fan of racing games or skateboarding...but if you like them, then it's definitely worth it. Madden 2007 is a good game too, so it was definitely worth 37 bucks if you enjoy playing those type of games.

Heck, GOW alone is probably worth close to 37 bucks...you made a good find.

I really didn't buy the games for the Tony Hawk game. It's kind of a throw in to me. I wanted Madden and the racing game..... The other game? Well, maybe I will like it and maybe not. If I don't like one of the 3 games I can sell them for a few bucks and lose little/none. As far as Madden goes, I'm still on Madden 2004 from the XBox.. I bought 2006 for about 7 bucks, but I didn't really enjoy that game as there wasn't a franchise mode in it from what I remember.

madden 07 is definitely better than 06 on the 360, but thats not saying much. there is a franchise mode (pretty much the same one as 08, btw), but it isn't quite as deep as the previous systems. 07 isn't too much different from 08 besides rosters. ea sports stopped trying after getting that exclusive license, but i know that point has been thoroughly discussed on this board.

Price wise, I'd say its a good deal.

Gamestop has those games priced at:
Gears of War - $39.99
Tony Hawk - $14.99
Project Gotham - $7.99

Those right there add up to more than you paid on the bay…

Gears was worth it alone.

I have not played PGR3 but I liked MSR and the original PGR on the Xbox.
