Default Desmond Mason

Okay, so for anyone who has been caught up on the recent news, Desmond Mason has announced he won't return to OKC this coming season. He still averages close to 8 ppg, so my question is, would you guys like to have him in the blue and gold? I personally still believe he has a lot left in him, and if we just decide to let Marquis walk and not do a S&T, he could be a good player for us to help back up Granger.

We could then have several players that could rotate in between the 2 and 3 spots.

Granger
Dunleavy
D. Jones
Mason

Thoughts?

What an odd name to bring up out fo the blue??

I don't think the Pacers have any money for Desmond.. Unless he signs for the vet min.

He could be good to have on the bench at the wing position. Back up Danny and Rush. And it would let the Pacers not rush Dun Dun back into the lineup.

As much as I read Dunleavy may be ready to go for the season start Im not entirely convinced when it comes to injury management at Pacerland.

First thought; "meh." It would help the wing depth and make it easier to work Dun back in, but he's a pure 2 as far as I know. Third in line at best behind Rush and Jones. I'd like a guy like Carney more, a lot younger, home town ties, some potential still there.

But short of a trade where we send out more guys than we bring in, I think the roster's basically set once AJ Price gets signed.
