Scottie Pippen has an argument over Jordan

Pippen won 55 games without jordan, without a legit 2nd option in a stacked east, was robbed of MVP, and was robbed by refs (wouldve made it to Finals).. (jordan never made playoffs without pippen)

Pippen was by far a better leader , mentally and emotionally, to his teammates. And his teammates agree.

Much better rebounder, more consistent and all around better defender, better team player, better facilitator...

Pip was probably 90% the scorer that MJ was, while still maintaining his defensive and all around dominance.

For the first 47 minutes of each game, Pip was the best Bull.. Jordan closed everything tho Ill give him that.

Honestly Pip is Lebron with better offense, better 3 pt shot, and more hustle/alpha traits.

Well said. Pippens IMPACT is what seperates him from MJ. Nearly made the finals without Jordan, while Jordan was first round fodder without Pippen. Jordan was an empty stat player that was lucky enough to be on the most stacked team of all time to cover it up.

Stat nerds need to understand that impact is 10000000000x more important than any stats. 2014 finals is a good example. MJ = LeBald, Kawhi = Pippen

Folks who actually watched Jordan play throughout his career don't have see one stat or look at one stat sheet in order to call him GOAT, much less to call him twice the player that Scottie Pippen was.

jordan actually made the playoffs without pippen, dude. what you're thinking of is his 1-9 playoff record without pippen, which, to a certain degree, puts an asterisk on his career and all time ranking.

jordan was a more skilled 1 on 1 scorer, but pippen was the bulls' leader and focal point on offense. the lead playmaker and defender.

it's tough to say what jordan would have been without pippen, but i would venture to say his career would be similar to bernard king and dominique wilkins (not that there is anything wrong with that).

This stat is always silly, but even moreso when coming from an inferiority-complexed Lebron stan. 6 of those 9 losses came in Jordan's first 2 seasons in the league; seasons in which Lebron didn't even make the playoffs, despite the league being much more watered-down.
