I don't understand people hating on Gasol. He's better than Boozer in every way except for rebounding. If I recall, we did OK with Boozer. Now, imagine Gasol comes cheaper (anything above 10m is rewarding him for his career/name, not what he brings to the table)? Instantly a better team.

Gasol's not my first choice to be a PF/C signing, I'll give you that. But he's a clear improvement.

He can't guard power forwards anymore and isn't much of a rim protector so it is difficult to keep him on the court for 30+minutes without his defensive limitations offseting his obvious offensive value.

Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah are excellent guys to play next to him though.
