A marvelous player born about 25 years late when to play guard in the L you needed world-class athleticism, something Baily sorely lacked. Had he been a member of a mid-70s draft he'd have had a solid career.

Can't remember if they actually drafted him or not. I know they brought him in to camp and then cut him though. If you to southern Indiana dude's a legend, think there's a statue of him in Heltonville. Pretty sure he's still the state's all time leading scorer.
Bailey was selected with the 44th overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft by his hometown Indiana Pacers, However, Bailey was cut after one season on the team's injured list and a series of pre-season games the following year.  Bailey played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for a number of years before returning to Indiana to start a series of basketball camps for kids. He was later employed as the boys' basketball coach for his alma mater, Bedford North Lawrence High School. The team finished 11-10 in Bailey's first coaching year. The Times-Mail in Bedford, Indiana reported on March 1, 2007 that Bailey had resigned as coach of BNL  after two seasons. He is co-founder of Hawkins Bailey Warehouse in Bedford.
