Greatest clutch hitter in baseball today?
There was just a little blurb on ESPN about how David Ortiz is the best clutch hitter in baseball today. What do you all think?

I don't know, a guy named Ichiro is pretty damn clutch today. He might not hit homeruns with bases loaded, but check his % with runners in scoring position.

Pujols and Papi. Ichiro isn't far behind. Hell, to hit .350 consistently, you have to be clutch.

It comes down to Pujlos, Ortiz or Ichiro. Personally, I think that it is Ortiz. Just look at what he has done in the playoffs and what he did durin ghte season last year.

Derek Jeter in the playoffs is the best clutch hitter. Ortiz is the popular choice here tho.

It's Pujols.
Last year (and over his career) he was better than Ortiz with runners on, RISP, RISP w/ 2 outs, almost every "clutch" (IMO) situation except for with the bases loaded. He had several game winning HRs too but since he doesn't play for New York or Boston, no one will care.
And let's not forget how he managed to ruin the career of a very talented and promising pitcher:
