In first stance, I'd say yes. But I'd have to take a close look at if that 5th pick is worth loosing MoSpeezy. I'm not a fan of Blatche.

So let's say Philadelphia gets the 5th pick. Who do we draft? If somehow Kings let Rubio slide, the trade is definitely worth it. Philadelphia's market and roster is good enough to keep his agent from b*tching about staying in Europe. And he'd be the much needed PG, although he wouldn't solve the range issue.

The player Sixers would realistically be looking at is Stephen Curry. He may be a bit of a reach at #5, but most draft sites have him going at #7~#9 so it's good. And he would solve the range problem as well as the PG situation, although he is more of a combo guard.

All in all, I'd be very tempted to do it...

They wouldn't do that trade but if they wanted to I would take it in a heart beat.

Ricky Rubio and James Harden is who I would hope for at 5. But I wouldnt be quick to do this deal based on Speights potential. What has Blatche really shown? The 5th pick would have to be a significant player when its all said and done for this trade to be a win. Or else you'll fid Speights and the prospect at 17 being more productive. So I dont know, its a trade to think about but unlike past drafts not one that is a no brainer or has me quick to pull the trigger.

i know MoSpeezy is almost needed for when brand goes down or does> vs. drafting with the fifth pick .....this draft is so pg heavy though .....in the end after much thought ....we should pass this hypothetical trade up and see what pg we get can do.

Never liked Blatche much, so I agree it's really a matter of what you think you can get with that #5. If Rubio is there, most definitely, but it's a tough call with Speights being there.
