Scottie has 8, been a few days now. On to #26?

NBA lottery pick
Re: Top 50 All-Time List - Shot Clock Era = #25
Right now Pippen has 8, Giannis 5, Isiah 4... I'll close in a few more hours if no more votes come in.
I do find it a bit strange that Lbj and aceman never voted for anyone before Pippen. But at this point I'm leaning towards counting their votes. Pippen feels a bit high at #25 but not a weird choice. There is an argument especially with taking into account 6 rings. I myself don't value beta rings that highly.

A number 2 over a number 1, especially from the same era is weird.
Pippen over Isiah. Nope.

Of those choices, I’ll vote Giannis

If you're going to count the votes for Kawhi, then it's only fair to count those votes too.

So much recency bias, which indicates the age of this board.
Havlicek.
8 rings
1 FMVP
8 - All-NBA Defense
And you can argue he was the best player on 2-3 more chips based on what you value more. Russell's D or Havlicek's overall game.
Pip has REALLY become the single most overrated player ever due to the Bron fans.

For an updated player pool and vote breakdowns see the link.
Everyone may post in this thread but only votes from serious contributors will be considered. Not everyone has to write an essay but there should be some justification or explanation and some coherent arguments being presented. I encourage people to be open-minded and willing to adjust their rankings in response to strong evidence. Debate and discussion is encouraged.
Opening Vote Tally
Scottie Pippen - 6 (Ryoka Narusawa, 8Ball, ELITEpower23, Lbj, TheCorporation, OOO)
Kawhi Leonard - 3 (kawhileonard2, HBK_Kliq_2, Honor Boost)

Chris Paul - 2 (RRR3, 1987_Lakers)
Giannis Antetokounmpo - 2 (gonzaldo, Phoenix)

Literally no one here knows how good Zeke really was which is par for the course really.
My vote is Isiah
He played like dog shit the majority of the '88 Finals besides the game where he wrekt his ankle, he wet the bed every time he went up against Chicago in the playoffs and was usually bailed out by his defense. The '90 Finals was the one moment during Detroit's back to back title runs where you can say he shined, but he was very inconsistent throughout their deep playoff runs from '88-'90.
And we already know we can't take your opinions seriously.

You kids should really stop talking about a player you never saw play live.
Besides, i put you kids in your place in that Isiah/CP3 thread. Please continue to stick to "errr PER".

I remember that thread, you immediately started to ignore me once I presented fact after fact why CP3 was better.

I know and I already admitted it. It's the, "err PER" argument. Keep sticking to it, it's cute and represents what most newbies look at.

Oh yea, nothing about the fact that CP3 is vastly more efficient scorer, a much better shooter, & a superior defender.
