Post Re: Eddie Griffin

Can we sign him to a couple 10-day contracts? If so, I would like to see how his game translates into Scottie's system. I know he has all those off-the-court issues, so I don't know if he is a Skiles type of player, but I always love big guys who can shoot the 3.

Lol sorry.. when i read this thread I was waking up, so I thought we were talking about Adrian Griffin!!! lol

Eddie is a different thing.. When i read the news that he was waived I thought too that he could be a good addition for us.. but.. probably he is in that "group" of players that Skilles will never want.. just like JR

I say give him a chance he's a good 6-10 guy who the Bulls can play at the 4 and let Nocioni play his natural position at the 3 and off the bench and cut down on the small crap.

PG-Hinrich
SG-Gordon
SF-Deng
PF-Griffin
C-Wallace

I think it would work as long as Eddie stays out of trouble. He's on a real contending team that could really do some damage in the East. If Paxson could see this, I think he would give it a chance. They gave Rodman a chance and you see how that turned out. 3 rings Baby!

LOL i was thinking about Adrian Griffin too... Anyway if you were to sign him he wouldn't be on the playoff roster. So its basically pointless.

The Bobcats and Sonics have alot of big men that they might want to unload off someone.

Sure possibly pick him up in the offseason and maybe trade him to a team who needs him for a late second round draft pick.

Otherwise I'd rather just stick with what we have and add with the 3 draft picks we have.
