Post Possible trade with the Suns?

I was just reading Chad Ford's Q&A session on ESPN.com, and:

Quote:
I could definitely see the Bulls and Suns working out a deal that gave the Suns a talented player or two (Deng, Tyrus Thomas, etc), plus a draft pick for a guy like Stoudemire.

Would you do that trade under any circumstances?

I would be hesitant to trade both Deng and TT and a pick for Amare, but then again, he is one of the premier centers in the NBA. If it was just one guy and a 2nd-rounder, I would not hesitate, but I doubt we would get a deal that good from the Suns.

i dont thnik i would trade deng and tyrus thomas

maybe like you said just one of them and a 2nd round pick//but i seriously dont think the suns would except that

i wouldnt wanna trade tyrus because i think hes going 2 be an explosive player 4 us and deng is just starting 2 get good ///and they are both younger then amare

what i would try to do is give nocioni+maybe a filler for Suns draft rights and then keep the NY swap option too :)

yay! 2 first rounders

I think the suns would rather trade marion than amare. amare gives them a big man that can defend inside. marion is more of a perimeter and help defender.

Deng not shooting 3's might be an issue
tyrus and marion is somewhat similar

I think theres a chance that the suns will trade there pick if they get atlanta's pick to save money similar to the Deng trade.

if for example the suns get the 4th pick and bulls get 10th pick, would you trade 4th + banks(player that the suns want to dump) for 10th+expiree?

I would do a trade of Deng and maybe Tyrus for Stoudemire only if the Bulls were to get a pick high enough pick to get Durant so that it would fill a void at SF.

When you put it like that, it would be hard to not go through with that trade if it came along, but we would be severely lacking depth in the frontcourt. If PJ retires, then all we would have is Sweets and Malik. We might be able to fit Noc in at the 4 once in a while, but we would probably need to draft someone else for the frontcourt. If we can get a dependable guy in the second round, count me in, although I really like Deng and Thomas.

And we could use our MLE to sign a veteran big man as well :)

I like Thomas alot too and I believe he could become even a better version than Garnett with less rebounds but more blocks. He has an incredible upside, but Durant has an even higher ceiling and his jumpshoot is very polished already.

The only trade I would do with the Suns is Thomas and someone or a pick (not the Knick's pick) for Stoudamire.

I think Thomas and the pick for Marion would be a fair trade for the Bulls. Thomas will never materialize as a team player.

I would NEVER trade Deng for Amare or just about anyone. He is poised to become one of the best players in the game. Yes I said it. He isn't now, but as he is a hard worker, he has improved every season and shows a desire to work and improve.

Living in PHX, I know Amare is the most untouchable player on the Suns (outside of Nash).

And there is talk about the Suns trading their draft pick (perhaps as high as 4 and Marion) for the 1st or second pick to get Durant, who would be killer in their system.

To further that, I'd like to see them trade Hinrich above anyone else. I'd rather have a traditional PG run the show. Someone like Jose Calderon or something.
