Brooks coached horribly in the 2012 Finals. Smart basketball fans saw that he needed to go then.

The fact that he's still around today is a testament to how stupid/cheap the Thunder management is.

Yeah, i don't think they get that 8th seed either. Not that good of a team this year plus they're playing in the West.

Phoenix actually is fairing quite well in their hardest stretch of the season. But they don't have enough separation just yet as OKC has an easy schedule the rest of the way as well. OKC need one of those 12 game win streaks which they hasn't been in their personality this year. Durant's foot is a nagging injury and it seems to sporadically cause problems. If Phoenix plays relaxed they are going to keep the 8 spot, but their three best scorers or players are PGs and that can cause tension at any time. A Portland collapse is possible as well. Its one of those years where teams are late in getting their act together. OKC's magic number of loses is 10 one way or the other.
