I try 2 take an outsider approach 2 this, but good bigmen are hard 2 find... why do we trade a Center who was the 2nd pick last year for a 3rd pick this year, which would be for a PG which would be reaching 2 pick Conley Jr at 3.
I'd rather have a problem deciding who 2 start this season at PF and C with Oden, Randolph, and Aldridge, rather than having Conley 2 team up with Oden.
It will not be the same Swett Potatoe Pie story having Oden and Conley on the same team in the NBA like it was in high school and College.
Portland has a great young big man in Aldridge why trade him for a PG, when you have Rodriguez who has 1 year of NBA experience, and did quite nice 4 a Rookie PG. Oden will come 2 Portland with or without Conley, and he said Conley might be better off going 2 his own team.
Just draft Oden, and continue 2 grow, and a championship will be right around the corner in 3-4 years.
