I disagree judging someone by looks is completely natural.

How good of a job does someone have to have for you consider him "having something going for himself"

I know plenty of people with great jobs who are dumb as **** with no personality. One guy is a doctor, one of the dumbest people I've ever met. His parents just instilled good work ethic and study habits in him.

physical attraction is natural and all you have to work with at first, but after that?...there better be something else or it won't work.

Finding someone attractive and dismissing them because of their job is more shallow.

no...i think they make good money for what it is...more like $40k a year is my guess...but still the person's life is devoted to garbage

I'm not even basing this on money, success and money don't always go together, someone could run a non-profit business and be a huge success at it...it is the fact that they have ambition and have accomplished something meaningful in life that matters

or, the person could be a rich pornographer...probably something many women would stay away from without being viewed as shallow

well most people's lives are devoted to their family and such but if they are doing it 8 hours a day, every day...then it is close

But fast food is kind of extreme. Any regular job is fine. My sister is marrying a server. He's a great guy.
