I think he's playing better than any PG in basketball but I don't think he's the MVP. Kobe should have it and if they were to give it to anyone else it should be KG. The NBA is almost making a mockery of the MVP, starting with all that Nash controversy, now CP. Hopefully they do the right thing and give it to the best player in the league. Of course I would like to see the Lakers in the top spot too, not that it matters too much with as close as the West has been this year.

I'm sorry but I think you are sorely wrong here. While I agree that Nash winning the MVP award was a travesty, there are only 2 choices for MVP in my opinion: Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul.
Kobe Bryant has done everything his critics over the past 2 years have blasted him for. He's made the players around him better, he's become a leader, he's no longer hiking up 30+ shots a gain. Continuing to put up 25+ pts, 5+ ast, 5+ rebs and winning games.
Chris Paul is leading the most surprising team in the league. He leads the league in Assists and Steals, he puts up great points per game while shooting a high percentage. He makes everyone on the Hornets better. Unlike Nash, CP doesn't have players that were previous all-stars to throw alley-hoops to. Does anyone really believe Tyson Chandler or David West would be as good on another team? (see Tyson Chandler on the bulls)
Now a lot of people want to look at Kevin Garnett as MVP because of the turn around of the Celtics. Anyone heard of All-stars Ray Allen and Paul Pierce? KG is a great player, but come on that team isn't exactly missing veteran leadership or talent without him. The only thing he possibly adds is a killer work ethic that spread through the team, but Paul Pierce and Ray Allen possessed a tremendous work ethic before KG became their teammate. Can't see how you can complain about Nash winning the award if you are giving it to KG over CP3.
