jabari/giannis and clarkson/randle seem to be the most ready to take that next step.

giannis could be one of the greatest defensive players ever if he learns the fundamentals of the game (srs)

If we are talking about if both players reach their ceiling who is better. I don't see how lakers fans say Randle looks ready to take the next step, we've barely seen anything from him and what we have looked bad. He looks like his ceiling is Brandon Bass type game.

Young duos? Who would you pair him up with on the knicks? Grant? Silly question because Prozingis is a way better prospect than Grant

I think Randle has a decently high ceiling, I'd say something like a more athletic but less skilled Zbo. Maybe a 2-3x all-star but not a true franchise player on the level of other PFs like Blake, Davis, etc.

From what I've seen his biggest issues are that he plays often with too much to prove, where he gets out of control and just bulldozes his way to the rim, and when he gets trapped he doesn't have the awareness yet to find the open man. And it ends up in him forcing a really bad shot. It's what I saw from him his original rookie year, until later in preseason when things kinda slowed down for him and he started making better decisions. He still has a lot of tools to become a really good player...really strong, solid explosiveness and a nice first step. Looks like he'll develop into a solid shooter. Just needs to slow down and let the game come to him.

We haven't seen enough to make concrete claims on him. Coming out of college I thought he'd be solid, not a star, but a reliable 15ppg type guy. But my worry now is based on his summer league play I guess which isn't the best judge but it's a let down seeing someone look bad in their second summer league, I was expecting to see some new aspects to his game this year but he didn't look very good. Hopefully he gets there because I liked him in college but I guess it's just frustrating seeing lakers fans post that he is ready to break out and is going to be an elite player this year.

This for me with the exception of Hezonja. I'm really high on AG as a player. Think he can be stupid good.
