Well this is just terrible. The guy had such a clean record prior to joining the lakers a few years back. Now he suddenly makes the jump to moron after getting into a stand off with gilbert arenas....and now more recently, shooting a 23 year old woman to death in response to a robbery in April in which Javaris was the victim. I can only hope this is not true, but this is truly unfortunate.
We as an organization are very lucky to have been able to trade this terrible draft pick ( I wanted Aaron Brooks ), I knew the kid would be a complete bust. Shockingly many guys wanted this no talent idiot to come back to the Lakers, I was 100% against it. For all the talk of Artest this and Barnes that, they were never accused of murder, nor did they very seriously hurt anyone.
If this clown was a Laker and did what he is alleged to have done, it would be a very permanent stain on the team.....good riddance!!!!

The gun incident in washington was the biggest red flag for this guy and probably should have been dealt with immediately. However he was talented. Great ball handler, good jump shooter....terrible IQ though.
Its a shame that someone young like him will get himself put in such a stupid situation. You're not just talking about some DUI, or drug charge, this guy ended the life of another human being supposedly....How do you ever gain back respect from something like that? you dont. If this is true, he should be jailed and the rest of his life will be about whether he can live with himself or not...Im really upset.
ISH says now that the FBI is in on the hunt for him. Im really shocked. I used to like the guy a lot. I remember a preseason game against the warriors, in his very first game played, he carried us in a 1 point loss effort. It seemed like he had cemented his spot in the NBA. Then everything else started happening.
Former NBA player Javaris Crittenton, who was suspended from the league for having guns in a locker room with teammate Gilbert Arenas, was arrested Monday in Southern California to face a murder charge in a deadly Atlanta shooting, an attorney said Monday.
Crittenton was taken into custody at about 8 p.m. at John Wayne Airport in Orange County after checking in for a Delta Air Lines flight to Atlanta, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.
Eimiller said he was arrested without incident by FBI agents with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities were trying to determine whether Crittenton will make an initial appearance in federal court, or be taken directly to Atlanta to face state charges there.
“He offered to turn himself in,” Lawyer Brian Steel told The Associated Press earlier Monday. “He’s not guilty. We look forward to getting it to the courts.”
We at InsideHoops.com continue to hope that it turns out Javaris didn’t do it, and is found innocent.
This is kind of a bizarre story. Guys in the NBA get called thugs all the time and guys get chastized for being cocky or flashy. But guys like this are the true scum of the league. Kind of puts things into perspective. Media was making it out like Lebron James murdered someone after his departure from Cleveland. Dont know all the facts, but Critt looks guilty...at the scene with intent and running from the feds? He better have hired up a good lawyer
