Explain what to look for, and what's good and what's bad.
I just got to New Zealand last sunday and I'm living here for 4 months. I have surfing lessons for the first time in my life in two weeks. Here's the surf report for the beach I'm going to today for example. This all looks foreign to me.
It looks like commonsense type of stuff. Obviously you have water tempurate...then how tall the waves/swells are which is 2-5 feet. Where it says the wind swells are 11 seconds I'm guessing that's how they are lasting or how long they're ridable?
If you're a newbie, for now you just need to know that today is a good day for you to begin.
You have ok conditions, you don't need big waves or "strong wind" for now to learn. Most of the times in your first lessons you barely "take a wave".
