He's 24 years old entering his fourth season, half the guys you mentioned put up similar or worse stats than he did last year at the same point in their careers. The only big knock on him is that he is pretty bad as a shot blocker. Maybe top 5 is a stretch but he's looking to be a legit big man in this league and with the prices being thrown in recent contracts due to the upcoming tv deal his new contract is in no way overpaid.

He is good, not great. I expect him to keep being like that. Decent center who can rebound and isn't lost on offence. As 7-footers don't grow on trees, he will be somewhat overpaid, but it is what it is. You got to respect that Vucevic holds single game rebounding record in a franchise that had Shaq and Dwight playing for them. He's a very decent guy in a weak era.

I'm sure if vuc was asked to take more 3s he'd be decent at it, he takes 2s from just inside the line and we've seen him hit 3s before. As well. Career 30% from deep we just don't see him take them often unless it's late in the shop clock. Why would he though? Now he's healthy again he's driving off the fake which is a new aspect to his game

54/4 avg out to $13.5mil per. What's the issue with this again? Fair deal for a big man like Vuc. All you have to do is compare it to the recent contracts signed by players and just not his position. A guy like Danny Green got 45/4 and he took a discount.

I havent watched Vuc much this season. But a quick glance at stats 16.9ppg 8.7rpg 1bpg. Solid.
