McCown is better right now and does give the browns a better chance to win but he isn't the long term solution.

Johnny might be, he may not be.

But I would like it if the Browns properly evaluate him before they decide to blow another 1st rounder on a QB prospect.

And McCown plays way more reckless than Johnny does. He took some brutal hits he didn't have to in that one drive.

More like Pettine has no faith in his job security. He isn't coaching for the future he's coaching for the present.

Yeah, a terrible approach for long term success. Coach is going for 8-8 with McCown to save his job. What the hell is the point of that? At least try to develop Manziel into a starter who could go 10-6 and maybe win a playoff game in the next 2 years while you try to find a long term solution in the draft. This serves no purpose. Doesn't help the organization, doesn't help the fans, doesn't get them in the playoffs, and puts them in draft hell (15-20) for an ultimately bad team.

Browns are gonna be the Browns...

I'm so confused why Manziel is getting put back on the bench...

Pettine is overrated but i'm so sick if seeing new coaches come in every other year.

Ray Farmer is a god awful GM. Haslem is a terrible owner.

Johnny should have never even been drafted in the first place. Haslem spends an ungodly amount on a QB study that says to take bridgewater. What do the Browns do? Take Manziel.

Johnny has proved that he has requisite arm strength and is still quick and elusive enough at this level. He has shown he can read coverages. He is in the process of proving he can put in the hours a QB needs to as a professional. Now he needs to be able to prove or show that he can run a pro offense.

In the NFL, the only draft hell is not having picks. Where you pick is quite irrelevant. You can have the #1 pick for five straight years and get 5 busts. Quantity is the only important thing for the NFL draft.

You are just straight up talking directly from your ass on that one.

Here are some notable names from the 2010 drafts to 2014 draft. Five drafts so 30 spots. Of those 30 spots....

Brandon Cooks
CJ Mosley
Shazier
Pugh
Zack Martin
Eric Reid
Kyle Long
Both Pouncy brothers
Kerrigan
Soldier
Liuget
Amukamera
JPP
Iupati
Melvin Ingram
Bruce Irvin

And guys like Derrick Morgan, Kendell Wright and Coples and Dre Kirkpatrick who are starters.

But yeah, draft hell !

Let's be honest. No matter where Cleveland picks in the 1st round they're probably gonna **** it up.

LOL Cleveland is tanking for another top 5 pick. They want to lose. McClown will lead them nowhere.

this x10000

so many busts/disappointments over the years. Browns gotta be the worst drafting team in the league.

The t-rich-weeden draft has to be one of the worst 1st rounds by any team in the past 2 decades. WTF were they thinking!?

Barkevious Mingo has been worthless. Gilbert has been a bust of epic proportions. Phil Taylor was cut. Joe Haden was our last 1st rounder that has actually been productive and useful.
