Hell no man, they were lucky to have gotten that far with him. He needs to realize he is doing more bad than good for both him and the team if he plays another year.

Lmao if he wants to sure. Go out there play the worst football of your career again, just don't expect the defense go bail his ass out again

Not really. I'm glad Peyton won another super bowl, but any logical fan knows the defense is the real reason why Denver won, Manning at this point is a below average QB. He should realize this and retire.

Yep. Then we can get the media fun of his benching and inevitable retirement while pouting on the bench wishing he had a re-do.

No he has nothing left to give. Why risk a life threatening injury? It's clear he's done. He's a below average QB right now.

I'd say if his playoff run (where he played against the 13th, 9th and 2nd ranked defenses) is any indication he still has the ability to be a good enough QB to win a title if you have a great defense.

Considering that pretty much any superbowl winning QB has a great defense (or one that gets really hot in the playoffs - see Eli Manning) I think he should come back. He has nothing to lose and a bunch of benjamins to gains

He needs to hang it up, everyone wants to see him go out on top.

Props to him not announcing it tonight and making it about him.

Nothing to lose except you know, the use of his limbs and all that. I understand how tough it can be to walk away, but considering how lucky he was to walk away with another SB win he'd be insane to come back. He would most likely get benched and/or injured.

This defense is ridiculous and he'd be stupid to walk away IMO. If Denver doesn't force him out, he should play one more year

Trent Dilfer would have won with this defense.

I am happy that he sh1t on all the haters tonight and became the first qb in history to win a superbowl with 2 different teams.

I would like to see him retire, but if he tells Denver he'd like to return, I would welcome him back with open arms and cheer him on again next season. He played great tonight. He made history. Haters can eat a bbc. Your team lost

All I know is his alleged #1 WR did NOTHING all postseason and even had a ton of drops which hurt Peyton's numbers. The only consistently reliable target was Emmanuel Sanders. The run game was also crap mpre often than not.

I think he has a good year left in him if DT stops playing like shit in big games
