Default Any updates about Eddie House?

Has anyone found anything out about Eddie House? I only see that they said he may have had a concussion, and the mri on his hip was negative.

In a way, I am glad the game was a bit physcial. I think that kept the nets focused and they played with a little more emotion. We need that. Hopefully, this will spark something. I think a physical game against detroit would do us good, I just don't want anyone else to get injured.

Eddie has a mild concussion and a partial tear in his hip muscle. He is out indefinitely.

He's a tough S.O.B. I like the way he wanted to keep ballin after that rough fall. You can tell it must have really hurt. We need him come playoff time. Do you guys think he will have enough time to get healthy?

I doubt it. Playoffs in 2 weeks. He has a concussion and a partial tear. I don't think he'll be back by then unfortunately.

unfortunately it looks like the Nets will not get rest this year. they will play probably up to the last game of the regular season... whereas Lebron, hughes, and Ilgauskas will have taken the last few games off.

Losing Eddie is going to hurt. Not only his shooting but his energy. But look at the bright side....more PT for Hassan maybe?

In other years that would not have been a good thing. This year I kind of like the fact that they will compete till the end. It will not allow them to put down their guard. I also think this team needs to get into some kind of flow. They have shown signs of greatness then fall off. I think this year (tired or not) these guys need as many games as possible to mesh. And if the games go down to the wire with a lot on the line. It may help ease the tension when the big playoff games come around. Lets keep the boys warm!

I also feel with House out of the loop Antoine Wright & Hassan have got to get back in the mix. These games will also help boone & R.J. I'm not worried about Kidd & Carter, they are both in great shape.

rest is rest. Kidd and Carter even admitted in 2005, when they played to the last game to get into the playoffs, they were out of steam when facing Miami.

I'm being really picky, but I really wanted the Nets to get that 50th win last year. They had like 2 or 3 games left with 49, and they didn't make it because they sat VC and Kidd. I know, I know, the rest is 100x more important, but ugh...why couldn't they just beat the Knicks to get that 50th win?

I agree psychologically, it could have been huge for the media to believe it and for Miami to get some subconscious thoughts about it after losin Game 1 convincingly.

though the Nets had their best chance at it in the few games after clinching the Atlantic, you know vs Philly and the home and home with Boston.
