Minnesota owns the rights to Love for another year and can establish a bidding war between teams who are pining for Love, and Love is willing to sign an extension with said teams.

Pretty sure thats more than just "zero" leverage. Teams are going to want insure they have Love long term and not just gamble on him signing with them when he becomes a FA. Wouldnt you say so?
