Default Warriors will have a better chance at winning the championship than the Heat

People don't realize JUST HOW STACKED the Warriors are from 1 to 12.

Warriors have a Top 5 PG in the league who also happens to be the best shooter hands down in the league. (Curry)
They also have a dominant inside presence in Bogut. Do people forget that a couple years ago the best C next to Dwight was Bogut? Do people forget this guy is a legit 7 feet and 280 pounds? If the Rockets meet with the Warriors in the playoffs Bogut will be a nightmare for them because he will drain Dwight's energy just battling for position. God forbid Steph Curry goes ham in the playoffs and demands a double team.

Then we have David Lee. Any Knicks fans here can tell you this guy is the real deal. Automatic double double and hes been a 20/10 guy all his career. This guy was Kevin Love before Kevin Love. Top 5 PF next season.

Do you guys remember last year's playoffs how the Spurs were expected to sweep the Warriors in the playoffs? Then it turns out the Warriors gave them a run for their money?

    http://youtu.be/XhIwz3npZo8

Now it seems that after almost making the Finals last year with a VERY YOUNG team, they have added a secret weapon.

    THIS GUY

Andre Iguodala is an allstar. People have expected him to be a superstar player all of his career, but thats not him. Iggy is a Scottie Pippen type player, not a Jordan.

He will defend the other team's best players, he can give you 20+ every night, hit big shots, rebound/block/EVERYTHING, but don't expect him to carry a team.

Which is why I think he is the secret weapon for the Warriors. Iggy will for once in is career not be the 1st option (without counting the AI Sixers in his younger days). He will have a very solid team around him and a legit big man.

He averaged for the Nuggets in the playoffs 18 PTS/8 REB/5 AST/2 STL
Now whos stats does that remind you of? Scottie Pippen.

But i'm not done yet, theres also a guy who will blossom in to a future allstar backing him up.
    His name is Harrison Barnes.

Pair these guys up with a ton of shooters off the bench and you have the best team in the West and probably in the NBA.
Shooters which they have. Klay Thompson and Seth Curry to name a couple.

So there you go. Expect to see a fresh Warriors team Vs a beat up Heat, Bulls, Knicks, or Nets.

I like Iggy Thump, but he will not be the reason why the Warriors make the finals.

The reason why the Warriors will not make the Finals is this:

    This is an unfair comparison.

David Lee is not a defensive specialist like Sanders is. They don't even play the same position, Lee plays PF and Sanders is a Center.

Another thing is that Lee was not brought in to the Warriors to bring in defense, he is an offensive player and he is one of the top rebounders in the league. The Defensive specialists in the starting lineup are Bogut and Iggy.

Even without Lee provided that everyone else is healthy they are a contender in the West.

The point I'm making is David Lee is such a defensive liability that it is going to cost them a lot of points in games.

Sure, if Bogut actually can stay healthy, him and Iggy will be a nice defensive combo. Not good enough to stop teams like OKC, Houston, and Clippers though.

So Iggy will give you 20+ a night despite never having averaged 20ppg in his career?

    Interesting.

He seriously has to be one of the most overrated players in the league. Hes an inferior version of what AK47 used to be. His defense is overrated to begin with.

Boozer is a defensive liability to the Bulls, doesn't make us any less of a good team.

The way I look at it, is that the paint is Bogut's territory. Anybody who gets past their man has to meet Bogut in the paint.

But yeah, injuries are a big issues for this team but i'm speaking if they can stay healthy.

People expect too much of him. And the way i meant it is not that he WILL give you 20+ a night, but he CAN give you 20+ a night. Hes a complimentary player and if any of the other guys is off he will step up and give you those extra points.

I think the Warriors will disappoint. It's funny how people over rate teams and players. It's almost like a fad.

Health. That's it, if they stay healthy they're going to the finals.

That's a good point, and how many Finals have this Bulls team been to?

I'm not saying Golden State is a bad team, just not a Championship caliber team.

Not unless the Heat and Warriors exchange their starting SFs

I liked last year's team better actually. They traded depth and shooting for a guy who will be great against OKC and Miami, but will be useless against the Spurs or Memphis. They have less firepower now, and with a defensive liability like Lee playing they'll need more.
