Pistons get: Kenyon Martin

Mavericks get: Anthony Carter, Flip Murray, Nuggets 2nd round pick


I think that's how it went at least. Glad I got Maxiell. Young and energetic, going to work on his post game. Eddie Jones adds veteran perimeter defense. Martin's contract isn't as bacd in the game as in real life, but it's still not the best contract in the world. Also got the Mav's pick and got Carter out. He's hurt the team more than he's helped for the whole season. The team breaks down when he's point guard.

SG: Smith (80) / Jones (74)
SF: Anthony (95) /Kleiza (78)
PF: Nene (79) /Maxiell (75)

So the Pistons are willing to give up an up-and-coming PF with a small salary for a massive longterm contract who has had two microfracture surgeries recently?

How do the salaries even match up? Detroit is sending out less than 5m worth of salary and getting back Kenyon Martin's 15-18m or whatever it is. wtf?

i always tried to keep my 2k trades semi-realistic. makes it more fun.

Guys, Martin's contract isn't what it is in real life and Maxiel isn't as valued as he is in real life right now. Remember this is 2k7 not 2k8. Martin's salary isn't as bad as his real one. It's like 7mil in the game. Nothing unrealistic about the trade at all. Martin's contract isn't like 13mil in the game like it is in real life.

yes we understand it's a game but if it's not logical in real life what's the point of posting it? In madden I can trade my late 1st round for a top 5 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder before the season, doesn't mean anything.
