Where does the Cavs getting Kyrie Irving for Mo Williams, Jamario Moon, and one year's payment of Baron Davis' contract rank on the "best front office moves" in recent history?

It needs to be pointed out that really the main thing for the Clippers in that deal was dumping Davis' contract, and it turned out the Cavs didn't even have to pay it off fully. They amnestied him the following season with the new CBA rules in place. So, in retrospect, it was Mo and Jamario for Irving.

    Not too shabby, Chris Grant.

getting tiresome seeing these threads how about keeping them in one thread. Don't need to make a thread every time Kyrie does something.

That isn't how ISH works. Some forums have an individual thread for each player and all discussion goes in those designated threads. ISH is a more loosely moderated community and, thus, as long as the first couple pages aren't cluttered with redundant discussions, new threads are not frowned upon.

I rarely if ever make threads... But I'm also not going to start deleting every thread just because there may have been something similar discussed last week or even a couple days ago. You have an issue, submit it to Jeff.

I prefer ISH 's stream of consciousness and looseness to more "serious" basketball forums. I feel it makes for a more sincere forum, and i think its easier to locate something in a new thread than sifting through a buttload of pages to find what you are looking for.

    And I agree.

It can get out of hand at times, and that is when we start deleting stuff en mass... but for the most part, I try not to be too strict. That takes some of the fun out of it.

I always considered it a non-travel if your pivot foot and non-pivot foot leave the floor at basically the same time (similar to Irving's clip or Kobe's pivot spin move at MSG). But if your pivot foot obviously comes up first and you're jumping off your non-pivot (like in D-Will's clip) I've always wondered how in the hell that's not considered to be an extra step.
It should 100% be a travel. The rule just doesn't make any sense. It's like if you go for a eurostep and then take an extra step (before your second foot comes back down). Obviously a travel right? So how is the Kobe/Kyrie move not a travel?

I love how he pulled off a Kobe move while wearing a Kobe mask
