Default YouTuber Thunderf00t might have a good point about "mainstream" muslims:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiQuCdv3A98

He points out that at least a large portion living in western countries such as the UK or France still fundamentally disagree with what is considered the first world human right of free speech. That a good portion of them believe that free speech is okay, EXCEPT when it is aimed towards criticisms/jest (or drawing pictures of figures) of their religion.

As far as first world values goes, everyone and anything on earth should be open to criticism, jest, depiction etc. If any person or thing wants to become immune they are a social engineer in violation of that first world core value.

You cannot function in the first world, if you can not handle open criticism, or jokes, or w/e. Free to joke, free to criticize, free to state your opinions, free to have beliefs. Free to be the subject of a joke, to be criticized, and to have opinions formed by others about your beliefs.

That's a fundamental value. If there really is a conflict of interest there even among the moderate or mainstream muslims, it'd be no wonder we've got these problems.

At the same time, all people living in the west are entitled to have whatever views they want, even if those views are anti-freedom of speech and pro-censorship.

Freedom is a double edged sword.

They are entitled to voice what they believe the way things should be.

But have, as in actually getting what they want - they are not entitled to that because it would be an act against the freedom of speech of all others.

Except when its criticism towards their religion
    Wrong.

Freedom of speech is in general frowned upon by strict Muslims if it's offensive to Christians and Jews as well, contains explicit lewd things, vulgar things, is meaningless squabble, vain, etc... Things that have a disrespectful nature in general.

They don't like a lot of things that extend beyond criticism directed at Islam which makes sense that most of the immigrants pursue STEM majors and avoid the humanities like the plague.

But it is the U.S. and that is the law. Steps have to be made to prevent oppressive tyrannies and Alien and Sedition acts from happening.

Who exactly is this Thunderf00t guy? I've seen a lot of people talk about him. The video was quite interesting... pretty disgusting that so many people disagree inherently with free speech.

He's at this point a pretty well known YouTuber who sort of built his channel off of openly criticizing (with great success) creationists who tried to get scientific about creationism.

He's an actual PHD scientist by career doing molecular stuff or something, and he would methodically point out every scientific, logical or factual error they made. Since doing videos like those he's also targeted the problems inherent in social justice warriors, feminists, or in this case a muslim belief clashing with a first world right.

Thanks. He seems like a very intelligent guy.

For some reason I had seen people refer to him as a 'white supremacist'... . Seems apparent now they just disagree with his viewpoints, and are trying to slander him. Especially if he takes on SJWs and the likes.

They aren't entitled to it but in a democratic nation they certainly have the right to push for those laws and campaign for them to become policy.

That is the go to move of "liberal progressives" like SJWs and Kevin Cuck and DeucesWallace on ISH.

If your argument goes against the narrative, you are a bigot, racist, white supremacist, misogynist, class bigot, etc etc. If someone proves you wrong, slander and shame en masse!

These are very feminine tactics, but very effective in the current political climate.

Yes, social justice warriors literally think he should die.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkDZ6SiD0BI

In this video he's mocking feminist videos and agenda by mirroring how they make videos and the logic they use within them. Basically flipping the script on them. He includes their reaction videos to him. They're crazy.
