I thought the reason the lakers sign Ira Newble to a 10-day contract is BECAUSE we need him to help out a little bit at this point during the season when a lot of our players are injured. IS THAT RIGHT?
If yes, why did he have Zero playing time during the last two games? Can someone please explain for me? Sometimes, I really don't understand Phil Jackson.
There were a lot of opportunities to put Ira Newble into the games, especially during the last game when the Lakers lost to a sorry-A$$ team like the Bobcat. The Bobcat lost 6 in a row, and the Lakers find a way to make them look like championship contender. When a lot of our players struggled, I don't know why Phil didn't give Ira Newble a try. What do we got to lose? Luke and Radman's defense stink anyway.
Maybe the Lakers have a lot of money to waste, so they just give it to someone to sit on the bench for 10-day doing nothing.
Oh, also please don't tell me the Lakers pay Ira Newble just to use him in practice. I don't think that was Mitch's intention.
