Default Ben Gordon for Jamal Crawford

I think that the Bulls should get Jamal Crawford back. I think him and Kirk Hinrich would make a good backcourt again. I'm just not sold on Ben and Kirk in the same backcourt. You know that you can count on Jamal Crawford to put up numbers. Ben Gordon is not consistent.

The Knicks wouldnt make this trade. Crawford has great chemistry with Marbury, and is willing to come off the bench. He is also our best clutch player. Ben Gordon is all of the things mentioned above, execpt the chemistry portion. The only reason the Knicks would even consider this trade is to shake things up after our weak start, but even if NY agreed, Chicago wouldnt considering Crawfords contract.

Offensively I as a knicks fan would do that trade in a heartbeat. ben has better offense but he can't guard a corpse. But overall I'm attached to crawford even though both players are streaky.

This would be a bad trade to Chicago.
Crawford is indeed a better defender but he is even more inconsistent in attack then Gordon. Bulls need a clutch scorer and Gordon can be that... (sometimes).

Ben Gordon is here to stay. I wouldn't mind seeing him more off the bench because that's when he plays better, especially late in games.

ben gordon, Steve francis, and marbury wont play well together. At least Crawford plays well In NY.

IMO, If they both switch places, they will both decrease in value.

Crawford's contract is grossly more then he is worth.

Frankly we should have kept J.R Smith. I'm not really that impressed by Thabo, he is pretty good for a rookie, but we need some more scorers on this team. We have 4 guys who can score and even they aren't consistent. Duhon can score but he is even more inconsistent and pretty one deminsional. He can shoot and make really ugly layups if he has too, but his scoring ability is way below average and his shooting is incredibly streaky.
