Pitt, Syracuse and Marquette fall way back to the back, and while UConn will still be good they also take a couple of significant steps back.
Georgetown and Notre Dame should bounce back to tourney status and Cincinnati is a wild card, and the bottom of the conference should be better. But this is a league with two Final Four contenders but no real national title contenders, compared to last year, when five or six teams were legit Final Four contenders and there were 2-3 legit title contenders.

This is going to be a horrible year for the Big East, why do you think Notre Dame will be better next season? They lose McAlarney, Ayers, Zeller,& Hillesland while bringing in a very average recruiting class & Ben Hansbrough. They return Harangody but they are still going to be much worse than last season, their fanbase already wants Bray out and at the end of this season they probably will get their wish.
Marquette will be a surprise, they are bringing in some very good talent but I dont think they'll make the Tournament.
DePaul will be worse without Dar Tucker.
It looks like for next season(in order):
1.Villanova
2.West Virginia
3.Georgetown
4.Seton Hall
5.UConn
6.Cincinatti
7.Louisville
8.Syracuse
9.St.Johns
10.Marquette
11.Pitt
12.Notre Dame
13.USF
14.Providence
15.Rutgers
16.DePaul
