I usually hit open layups
Is Kobe the last of its kind?
The mentality, style of play, competitiveness, etc...
I don't see any player with that drive in the NBA these days.

Many players in the NBA are like that.
Do you also mean that kind of mentality with THAT kind of talent? Sure it's rare... Or else everyone would be battling to get in the top 10 all time.

Killer mentality? Hardwork? Competitive? Sounds like the exact description of the number 2 pick not even a week ago. Come on son.

Kobe said that CP3 and Rose were the only players left in the game with his competitive fire and never quit attitude... so I'd take his word for it. CP3 is a dog. He will punch you in the balls, bite you, tornado flop and whatever else he can to win.

I'd say rose is closer than cp3. Cp3 is too open to facilitating at the end of games. He will put up 30 but never go for that 35. He'll hit 2 shots but then look to pass 3rd time. He has the competitive spirit but he doesnt have the ego. KG does. Rose is kind of close.
but yea i mean kobe knows better than me.. gotta question how much he actually wants to answer truthfully tho

Well I think what OP means is competitive fire... not necessarily who takes the most shots.
Edit: My bad... he DID say "style of play" and I missed it. Okay then the answer to the question is no when you combine all of those things.

Rose. He doesn't even smile at the all star game
Durant and Westbrook are close.
