I think that letting Kinsey go last year was the first of many terribly decisions. But now, it seems like the team has smartened up and realised that having a player like Kinsey is something that this team desperately needs, especially now that the focus will be on defense. Bringing in Ross, I think will be a solid move and can only help us. I'm certainly happy, mainly because it seems that slowly but surely, we are heading in the right direction.

What are your thoughts on this?

Good pick-up. Ross is a dirty work player and can play the 2 or the 3. I like this move.

This should help. We need defensive stoppers. With him we will have at least three guards that our good at defense.

He could also play some 3 aswell, which would be good. Get the offense from Rudy and the defense from Ross. Though, it would be much better if we could get some defense from Rudy and then more defense from Ross.

I really like this. Takes minutes away from Jaric at the 2/3.

Also, at end of games, he could play SF while Gay plays PF. Ross can guard the team's best scorer who burned us and Mike Miller all season long.

He has to actually make the roster first though. His contract is non-guaranteed.

I think they not only add him due to his defensive skill. He is Darrell Arthur's cousin and after the affair in the rookie's transition camp they can be looking for someone that could help the guy to be calm.

Good point. Ross is 27, so he should be a good influence for Arthur, keep him on track and keep him out of trouble.

I just like the fact that he is an atheltic 2/3 that plays defense. Havent had that since dhantay jones.

Kinsey? Could play the 2 and sometimes 3 and had solid defense. He also started showing signs of being able to play solid offense when he was needed to.
