Just downloaded the Tupac Movie Marathon. Going to watch all these old movies, what are your thoughts on his acting career.

he's pretty good in Juice.
I used to watch that like 10 years ago.
It was good

Edit: I haven't seen Murder Was The Case and didn't even know Pac was in that movie.

Nothing But Trouble.....it wasn't his acting, just based on him and his rap group Digital Underground.


I think Gridlock'd was his 2nd best performance.

I've only seen Above the Rim and Bullet. I liked Above the Rim (I was young when I watched it) and didn't really like Bullet. You're going to watch all of these in a row? Epic! I hope you have some chips and salsa!

man, pac's role in Juice was real good. sad that we'll never be able to witness him grow even more as an actor, i bet he would've become a legit one

he might have become a better actor than rapper and that is scary (as far as how talented he was). i think he really shined in gridlock'd.

he was tight as birdie in Above the Rim, Poetic Justice and Gridlock'd are both good too

I totally forgot about Above the Rim. I used to watch this movie many time when I was in high school.

I have to found a copy of it to watch it again

i wasn't a fan of him in bullet though. i thought the actual movie was good but he just didn't seem to carry the character like mickey rourke did. gridlock'd is probably my favourite, then juice, then gang related, then above the rim.

I think Pac got talent but in my opinion I think his "rapper career" ruined his acting talent. He was the first actor before he became rapper just like Mos Def.

That's why you see most people said Juice was his best performance but he still did good job in Gridlock'D and Poetic Justice but still you still think him as Pac in those movies too much, he did not carry the character like he did in Juice movie.

Juice is by far the best of all his movies. He was ok in Poetic Justice too. Gridlock'd was bad from what I remember (only watched it once).
