That was pretty bad, but the Pats asked for it. Only one team showed up ready to play that game and it sure wasn't the Pats. But seriously, who cares if the Pats aren't in it? They haven't won a Super Bowl since 2003 and I've watched plenty of Super Bowls they weren't playing in.

This one...the Ray Lewis Bible-Quoting, Praise Jesus Lovefest Retirement Celebration Circle Jerk combined with "OMG THE COACHES ARE BROTHERS DID YOU KNOW?!?!" storylines...completely turned me off.

If it was the Pats in this game and it was two weeks of "Belichick and Brady are the greatest thing to happen to humankind since Jesus and Chef Boyardee"...I'd be equally as turned off, but I'd at least watch the game.

Just...all the lead-up would piss me off.
