Default How would guys like Kobe, T-Mac, Garnett done in college?

Seeing Kevin Durant play in college makes me think how dominant players like Kobe, T-Mac, Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal, all the guys who became stars after going straight from high school to the NBA, would've been if they'd gone to college instead. Would they all have completely dominated? Or would it have taken a year or two for them to develop?

I really wish there was a rule in effect back then too. Most of these guys came in and their rookie seasons in the NBA weren't fun to watch, and it would've been a lot more fun watching them in the NCAA tourney instead.

It could've also created some interesting matchups. If KG had played as a sophomore in college we could've seen Kobe, KG, and Jermaine O'Neal in the same NCAA tournament. Then T-Mac would've come in the following year and he could've played with Vince Carter and Jamison. And on and on.

Seems like we were robbed of a whole generation of great college basketball.

Sorry if I'm rambling a bit, but which players do you think would've straight up dominated from day one and which would take some time?

Garnett and Kobe would have dominated from day 1 IMO.

Dwight Howard, man what would he have done?

Shaun Livingston may have never made the NBA if he went to Duke.

kobe, t-mac, and garnett would enter the draft after their 1st yr in college. o'neal would stay at least 3 years in college.

now the other question is how would guys like eddy curry, tyson, kwame, perkins, outlaw, and others done in college? would they've become better?

Curry- 2 years and would have dominated in his 2nd.
Chandler- Would have dominated. Left after 1 season.

I'm not sold on Kwame, Perkins or Outlaw being good college players. I see those guys needing 2 years at least.

Sebastian Telfair? Probably a 2nd round pick.

Personally I think Dwight would be absolutely amazing had he gone to college. His game is still raw, a good college coach could have really solidified his skills imo

What no LeBron??

James would of dominated the college game, just because of how developed his body was coming out of high school, he would of killed in college.

Would Travis Outlaw be a taller Gerald Wallace today if he went to college?
