Default Is Green Bay going to address their running back situation via trade?

are they gonna pick somebody up off the street?

they can't seriously be thinking about making a run at the Super Bowl with what they have now.

Slaton's the only one I'd take a risk on if it was cheap. Those others would be a waste of time.

He's averaging 5.5 yards a carry, and most importantly for the Packers is a great pass catcher. They really should make a move because just having a decent running game gets them to the SB imo.

5 shitty/over-the-hill RBs will replace Grant? Grant wasn't all that great, but those 5 are terrible with the possible exception of Slaton, who could develop.

Admittedly I haven't seen Slaton this year but statistically he's been good. Last year I did see him and though 90% of his bad play was his fault and him being overweight, you could put a lot of the blame on his O-line too. Every time I saw him he was getting hit behind the line as soon as he got the handoff. I remember seeing Ray Lewis drill him so hard as soon as he got the ball he had no chance.

I'm going to guess them having him on kick returns this year and his 5.5 average means he may have lost a bit of that weight. That and he's still a great receiver out of the backfield. If they could get him then yes I would take a chance on him.

Bad year last year and still managed 850 total yards in 11 games. Not horrible. About the same pace as a Joseph Addai was on last year. (as far as yards, not TD's)
