Default This is a great trade idea...

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...1~11&te=&cash=

Indy gets

Brendan Haywood
Antawn Jamison
Nick Young
Darius Songaila
1st rd pick

washington gets

Jermaine O'Neal
David Harrison

this is a great deal for both, tell me what you think... we would obviously have to cut a couple of players like sims or graham or something, and songaila can be taken out if need be, but this is a good looking deal. We would need to get Jamison to sign an extension first...

the first scenario would be the best if you had to make a deal. I doubt that Washington is going to give up that much though.

the second one makes no sense at all in my opinion. from a quick look at it, you're giving up all of your low post precense offensively for outside shooting. no way I make that trade.
ben wallace is getting paid big time, for someone that doesn't score much at all. plus he's getting up there in age in basketball terms.

haywood is the wizards' only true center right now, right? i don't see them letting him go. nick young is there to stay IMO, if not for just this 1st season. he looks like he has a promising career ahead of him. if arenas continues his shooting slump, they'll need some shooters to back him up.

also, i don't want jamison on the team. never really was impressed w/ him.

There's no way I do it if I'm the Pacers, but from the Wizards' standpoint it looks okay. Might be giving up a little too much depth inside, but if I were them I'd probably do it.

Know if Pacers are willing to trade Shawne Williams? If so, possibly for Jarrett Jack? It'd be a nice little trade that nets Indy a backup PG and Portland some talent at SF that they might be able to develop.

i doubt Portland would agree to that trade. they've got 4 SF on board right now.
Miles, Webster, Outlaw, and Jones. If they gave up Jack, they'd be left at PG with Blake, and little used Tauren Greene.

jack would be a good aquisition(sp.) but i agree w/ them not wanting williams for the same reason listed. they do have plenty of pg's though but i'm not sure they play them at all.
