Seems like eons ago since we've had this guy, and it was obviously a horrible falling-out for Ronnie. Most Pacers fans I know can't stand the guy. How about you guys? How do you feel? All I know is that we had our best years with him in uniform for us.
And while we're on the topic of missing people, I really hated it when we lost Brad Miller, I really thought he was the center this franchise was looking for since Rik Smits retired.
ron artest is a great player but a horrible person. he couldn't handle his emotions and he had to leave. i don't miss his shenanigans at all.
miller i wish could have stayed a bit longer, if only because we traded him for scot pollard who was supposed to become our starting center what a bonehead decision that was. i think the $ issue was involved though.

exactly, it was because of money, i remember. we re-signed Reggie and had no $$ left for Brad, so we had to do the sign-and-trade deal...

I didn't watch much Pacers with Ron Artest, but he, Reggie, and Jermaine were a nice trio. Had Tinsley been healthy, they might've been able to get to the NBA Finals again.
Yeah, I really miss him. He was a great defender and could play an equally solid game on the offensive end. He could play solid defense against Lebron James as well. Some of the shenanigans were uncalled for, but overall he was a good player and person.

thank you. he was a good person at heart, IMO. he just didn't know how to control his emotions in the right manner. he always reminded me of a kid who just needed some guidance.
