at the risk of jinxing him, Glover Quinn has been playing outside his f*cking mind this year. Arguably been the best safety in the league so far.

^^^ DeMarcus Lawrence vs Joe Staley

ouch

For those that don't know, Jerry Jones traded up for Lawrence when he fell to the 2nd round in 2015. He then had to serve a suspension and many labeled the Jerry trade a 'bust'. Jerry showing that he actually knows football though.

What a stud we got...

Also Patrick Peterson is having a historic year at CB, he is on pace to allow just 16 catches on the year WHILE shadowing #1s

Golden Tate - 0 catches
TY Hilton - 1 catch 16 yards
Dez Bryant - 0 catches
Pierre Garçon - 1 catch 16 yards
Alshon Jeffery - 2 catches 26 yards
Mike Evans - 0 catches
Sammy Watkins - 0 catches

Some PFF numbers on Peterson:

Peterson has played well, but some of those supposed "#1s" are pretty dubious. Watkins has sucked dick every week except vs the atrocious niners, Alshon is averaging 45 yrds per game and has 2 total TDs, Garcon has decent yards but zero TDs, TY doesnt have his QB, and I love Golden Tate but hes not the type of guy that you would expect to go and torch Patrick Peterson. The only true #1s on that list are Evans and maybe Dez imo.

Peterson didn't guard tate, he guarded Marvin Jones (2 catches for 37 yards and a TD)

Alex Smith last I checked hasn't thrown a pick yet and if season ended today would break the qb rating record which is incredible given he also provides a lot of value scrambling, which Peyton nor Brady provided any of when their qb rating was this high.

He deserves it.

Wentz is a lot more talented. Second most talented qb in the league IMO.

I hope he got a good rating with the best rb in league (5th mvp) , arguably best tight end in the league and arguably most explosive player in the league.

Comeon lil niggah. I value you seeing the entire picture.

Yes.

I run shit

That did not warrant a laughing emoji

It was facts.

You don’t laugh at facts. You can write about them, but you can’t laugh at them.

okay I didn't watch that game at all, everything I have posted is via PFF

According to them PP has given up 7 catches in 7 games...averaging 1 catch a game while shadowing

I can see the numbers I posted only add up to 4 catches, so what I 'bet' has happened is that PP only shadows on the outside and if the #1 moves to the slot the nickle CB takes him and PP takes on someone else. If you know he was guarding Jones a lot, I am betting Tate was in the slot a lot.

Allowing no catches on any WR is impressive.

Asomugha got god-like praise for allowing similar stats while shadowing no one.

Also, some of those guys have unimpressive numbers because damn near every WR does outside of Antonio Brown.

There has been a shit ton of elite CB play this year...Seriously there are several CBs having god like seasons so far this year. Talib has allowed just 68 yards so far. Sherman just 93. Ramsey passer rating against in 41. Janoris Jenkins is beasting.

This is the year of the CB.
