Plug in the Miami Heat, it will tell you what players we have under contract and for how long.

Also, current list of Free Agents (Chris Quinn, Kasib Powell, Blake Ahearn, Alonzo Mourning):
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/s...2008FreeAgents

I went their, but i did not see anything about guaranteed contracts .
Ira if you know is the Heat beat wrighter, so i would trust him over ESPN. But how do we find out who is right?

You are probably right, but would you rather have Blount?

It is rather obvious that the biggest hole in the Heat roster is at center. What is the solution to this problem? Blount is a 7' small forward and who knows if Magloire is any good. Even if Zo returns it is for limited minutes. So who is out there who is half-way decent who Miami could obtain?

If they could solve that problem...

Miami need to go ahead and get Chris Wilcox from the Thunder. This undersize center **** is getting old.

Isn't Wilcox a 6-9 PF trying to play center?

He 6'10.

Thats what's always on the video games and his player profile. We just need someone who is at least 6'10 or taller

Yeah, he's 6'9.5" (according to his draft measurements) so basically 6'10", and he also has a 7'1" wingspan. He's a guy that can comfortable catch & dunk, has an okay jumper, okay post moves, good defense, and is fairly cheap. If somehow Marion is in the long term plans for the Heat, I can see them picking him up also this offseason for $6M-7M a year @ starting C.

PG: Chalmers/Banks/Livingston
SG: Wade/Cook
SF: Marion/Jones
PF: Beasley/Haslem
C: Wilcox/Anthony

That would be a solid rotation for a playoff bound team, but I do kind of think they'd be fast food for the top tier teams.

6-1/2 mill for only this year. That's cool, but who would you trade for him, that they would want.?

Blount, & Banks, for him, & Smith?

I say give the Thunder a 2nd round pick and some cash.

Why trade for him when we can possibly just sign him outright in the offseason?

There were already rumors last season he wanted out because of playing on a losing team yet having trouble getting minutes. I doubt he re-signs with them, especially since they just locked in Nenad Krystic

Like I said, if Riley plans to re-sign Marion, he needs to take a serious look at that guy.
