According to this guy, who claims he is an insider, the Blazers offered Outlaw and Pryzbilla for Hinrich. This guy has gotten alot of stuff right so I think he is credible.
He also says that the Bulls are trying to see if they are interested in Gordon instead of Hinrich.
I would like this deal if it included Gordon and not Hinrich.
Where is Outlaw going to fit in on the Bulls? Having Prz wouldn't hurt, he's a decent enough shotblocker and rebounder. Still any deal involving an outgoing Hinrich needs to have a good bigman coming back in return. Prz is OK, but he's not a guy you'd want as your starting centre. He's a servicable backup.
It now becomes apparent however, that Outlaw isn't long for the Blazers seeing as they are offering him to any team with a spare PG.
Isnt his game just like Deng's even though his percentage isnt as high as Deng and he is a lil better at shooting 3-pointers than Deng.Yes he is young and can knock down some open jumpers but he is def a duplicate of deng. He only makes 4 mill now so y not. If we can get him and Prz for gordon(Lets face it reinsdorf nor paxson wants to see kirk go even though i do) id do the trade.
I know that half the Bulls fans want to kick Kirk to the curb but this would be a **** deal for the Bulls.
We don't need Outlaw. (and the Grizzlies don't need him either, "Conley for Outlaw") obviously Oden, Roy and a couple others are untouchable but I stand my ground and push for Aldrige or at least Frye.
If the Bulls do this deal I will be disgusted, except that I will feel some happiness for Hinrich as he wins multiple championships in the next few years.
Oh, and did I read that the Blazers would like a draft pick from the Bulls for this screwing?
Outlaw would be lucky to get 5 minutes/game on this team. With Deng and Noc at SF, there would be nowhere for him to play. I don't know why the Blazers thought we would want him.
If they can deal Gordon for the pair, do it. Gordon won't play for the Bulls anyways, might as well get something out of him. I like Outlaw (especially at his pricetag), but Przybilla isn't even an expirer. In fact, he's the opposite of such. He's still got a longterm deal and he's not the type of big man we need right now, definitely not for Hinrich.
