Marbury would give GS the scoring pg Nellie usually likes for his system, and then they wouldn't have to rush Monta back too soon.

Marbury makes more than double what Harrington does.. but an interesting thought.

Makes sense. Maybe Denver too. Tall point guards always help when your 2 guard is only 6'0".

Out of all the destination Shaun could go to, Warriors seems like the best fit at the moment..

Unfortunatly, he may not be ready to contribute anything grand, which the warriors will need now that Ellis will be loosing playing time....

Who are some other FA options?

Pargo - Is he still around, or did he go overseas?

D.Stoudamire - Can he still play?

Boykins - He would be another reason to watch GS.

They said they were interested him before the Ellis injury. And this is what Mullin had to say about in the mean time.
Quote:
The Warriors' tumultuous offseason began with Davis making a verbal commitment to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers on the very first day of free agency. While Ellis is the primary heir to Davis' offensive responsibilities, Mullin insisted Wednesday that "there will be no panic, emergency moves immediately." But Mullin did concede that Golden State is interested in signing former Clippers guard Shaun Livingston and said he registered that interest before Ellis got hurt, with Mullin scheduled to fly to Chicago on Thursday to watch Livingston in a private workout.
Quote:
"Right now, we feel like we're going to let Marcus [Williams] handle the point," Mullin said. "There will be a lot more discussion moving forward about that, but we feel like we'll come up with a lot of different scenarios between [coach Don Nelson] and I. The one thing we won't do is panic and do something just knee-jerk."

Livingston would only get about 10 minuets a game to start out with, and get some experience and games under his belt. He could get up to playing 20-25 minutes before Monta comes back

Livingston won't be contributing much of anything this season IMO. If he has anything left in basketball, next season will be the one for him to prove himself.

They're planning to play Marcus Williams as a starter, so even if they sign Livingston, it'll still be for backup minutes.

Livingston was a borderline bust before he even got hurt.

Warriors need to save cap space and tank for draft picks. Livingston isn't going to take us to the playoffs.
