I can't lie. I am excited by the possibility of seeing what Marcus Williams can do. Still, I think the Warriors may suffer through his growing pains in the first month more than anything else.

I think if we tried we'd win 40 games, but I'd rather tank then win 40 pointless games in the western conference.

Yeah, 40 games won't get you much next season. But personally I'd rather have the 40 wins and feel like I got a productive season. When you tank, you aren't always ensured a good pick.

yeah there is always two sides to it. We'll see how we do without Monta, if we can hover near .500 then obviously no tank, but I have a feeling we will lose a lot of games that first month.

I agree with you. The Warriors play a lot of improved Eastern Conference teams that first month, including a few games against Philly and Chicago.

I really hope you guys sign Shaun Livingston. When healthy he will thrive under your system. He will get a ton of guys easy buckets and alleyoops.

Warriors to Watch Livingston Workout Today

A possibility for the Warriors could be Shaun Livingston, who Mullin said the Warriors will watch work out on Thursday. Livingston has recovered from his devastating leg injuries and is fully participating in basketball activities at Tim Grover's facility in Chicago. Livingston is said to be looking for a guaranteed deal which the Warriors could theoretically give him if they waive either Watson or Summer League shooting sensation Anthony Morrow.

Mullin admitted that he likes Livingston's game and said the workout was scheduled long before news of Ellis' injury. However, Mullin cautioned that the Warriors won't rush into any decision, saying "the one thing we won't do is panic or do something knee-jerk."

While they're at it they might as well go shopping for a mentally stable Ron Artest, a healty Nene, a motivated Tim Thomas, a J.R. Smith with half a brain and a living Len Bias.
