The main issue is that we would never have gotten all these picks, because we would have been a much better team, therefore making the playoffs etc etc. I agree that any of those individual picks, or maybe two, could have gone our way, but to put together an entire lineup obviously wouldn't have gone down.

Like had we had Kobe, Tmac and Vince in consecutive drafts, we probably wouldn't have been in the lotto for '99 etc etc.

I bet a ton of teams could say the same thing too, not just us.

You still think we should have drafted Mcgrady and Carter after the way they left this organization? Definetley not Mcgrady and I mean if babcock wasn't a retard we could have got a lot more then memories from Carter.

Definitely. If we had a coach that could work with young talent, that could have worked. Butch Carter was a horrible coach. McGrady was playing huge, and Butch still wouldn't start him. It left a sour taste so TMAC bailed. Now of course injuries have become an issue with TMAC. But there is no reason the Raps still couldn't be a perennial titel contender if they were able to keep TMAC and VC happy. You can't put it all on the player. Tmac left the organization for various reasons.

Kobe at point. You would need 4 defencive players. I think the rapotrs have done decent. Take Hoffa out and Raptors are a good drafting team

Damon
Vince
TMac
Bosh
Camby

For every solid pick the raps have, there is another terrible selection. So, I am not sure if a normally perennial lotto team would consider their drafting history bad or good. Honestly, I am not sure. Camby even was a pretty bad pick, considering who was behind him. We definitely have hit a home run a few times, but guys like Jefferies, Radoyavic (Spelling??), Bradley, Hoffa etc etc all sting.
