Barrington Irving came to my school today.

I'm sure not many of you know about him, but he's a really cool guy. He was the first Black man to fly around the world, and he is also the youngest to do so. For high school he went to Miami Northwestern where he played rb/fb (For those of you who don't know, Miami Northwestern is usually in the top 10 HS football rankings each year.) He got offered a football scholarship to the university of Florida, but turned it down to pursue his aviation career. If he had accepted the scholarship he would've been on the 2006 Gators Championship team. All in all, I just thought he was a really cool guy and a great motivational speaker, and I thought more people should know about him.
